Itty Bitty Ballerina's | Ages 4-5

This class incorporates different styles of dance and technique to help your dancer to better his/her idea of what style he/she is most interested in! We focus on strength, flexibility, musicality, and technique!

Pom & Tumbling l Grades K-2nd

Wednesday 3:40 PM to 4:15 PM

Grades K - 2nd Pom and Tumbling class will combine the athleticism of Cheer and tumbling to develop an individual's style and presentation. Dancers in this class will be introduced to new jumps, turns, combinations, and across the floor exercises. It will teach our dancers the very basics of technique and performance.

 

Dress Code: Tan jazz shoes will be required for recitals. No jeans allowed Dancer is encouraged to wear tights and a leotard Tight-fitted, stretchy clothes only. 

 

 

Technique & Ballet Combo Level 1 | Ages: 6-9

Ballet is the "Backbone" of all dancer training. In ballet class, your dancer will learn grace, elegance, technique, flexibility, and discipline. We feel that ballet is the most important dance form that dancers can study. It is a stricter environment, and dancers learn appropriate levels of ballet vocabulary and technique.

 

Dress Code: Class attire must be black UPDS leotards and tan or pink tights only. Dancers may wear black ballet skirts Dancers must wear their hair in a clean bun for class. This class will only perform in the spring recital Tan or Pink ballet shoes, pink ballet tights, and a black leotard will be required for this recital.

Beginning Lyrical | Grades 1st-3rd 

Monday 3:45 PM to 4:20 PM

Is your dancer interested in ballet, but hoping for something less strict? This class is for you! In Beginning Lyrical, your dancer will learn grace, elegance, technique, flexibility, and discipline. They will learn the fundamentals of ballet in a more relaxed setting. They will also learn a lyrical routine to perform in our winter and spring recitals.

 

Dress Code: tan or pink ballet shoes will be required for recitals. No jeans allowed Dancer is encouraged to wear tights and a leotard Tight-fitted, stretchy clothes only.

Ballet Level 3 l Ages: 11-12
